Expressions of Interest / Registrations of Interest

South Australia has the environment and ecosystem where entrepreneurship can flourish.

Expression of Interest

The South Australian Government has conducted an expression of interest for anchor tenants at a unique and ambitious entrepreneurship and start-up hub (Hub) in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD.

We are currently in the evalution phase from experienced co-working and incubator organisations that can make a significant contribution to strengthening South Australia’s start-up community and growing a pipeline of future job creating businesses by becoming anchor tenants in the Hub.

The Hub will be located within Lot Fourteen, Adelaide’s seven-hectare creation and innovation neighbourhood. Lot Fourteen will provide the opportunity for entrepreneurs and start-ups to co-locate with international organisations, service providers, investors and researchers within an environment that sparks collaboration and attracts talent.

Nestled against the Adelaide Botanic Garden and a stone’s throw from some of the best restaurants, bars and shopping in the city, Lot Fourteen is one of the most exciting urban redevelopments in the world.

Registration of Interest

Registrations of interest from invited from the entrepreneurial and business community, including startup and scale-up businesses, accelerators, professional service providers and other interested individuals and organisations to register their interest in leasing space within a co-working tenant  or providing services at the Hub at Lot Fourteen.

Those seeking to lease space or deliver services at the Hub are invited for the first time to receive the latest news and information about the Hub, including early information about who has been successful through the Expression of Interest process. This is your opportunity to join others in the running to be part of an environment where entrepreneurship can flourish.

Forward thinking organisations that understand the benefit of association with the brightest minds and the most vibrant hub in South Australia are warmly invited to register interest in representation for potential sponsorship opportunities at the hub.

The Hub at the Lot Fourteen site will be an iconic destination for entrepreneurs and innovators to build and grow new businesses.

The Hub will complement existing private and public services and programs, providing a CBD-based front door to individuals, entrepreneurs, startups and growing businesses, and will provide a pathway for networking with regional businesses and innovation hubs. The Hub will be a place that supports all stages of business development, including research and development, commercialisation, startup and scale-up stages.

The South Australian Government will support the local innovation community to build and strengthen the entrepreneurial community.

Coworking and incubator operators with a strong track-record of supporting startup businesses are invited to express their interest operating at the Hub as its first anchor tenants.

The initial anchor tenants are expected to partner with the South Australian Government and work closely with the Office of the Chief Entrepreneur to foster the Hub’s startup culture and contribute to the vision of the Hub as an iconic destination for entrepreneurs and innovators. Anchor tenants for the Hub will be selected based on merit, with criteria outlined in the attached document.

Participants in the entrepreneurial and business community, including startup and scale-up businesses, incubators, accelerators, professional service providers and other interested individuals and organisations are invited to register their interest in leasing space or providing services at the Hub.

These registrations of interest will be assessed to determine demand for desks within the Hub and the scope of service provision. Registrations of interest may be provided to the successful anchor tenants to contribute to the establishment of the Hub. Anchor tenants will be responsible for selection of members and service providers to occupy or service respective coworking or incubator spaces.
